Alexander comes to the cage accompanied by Hellraiser - Ozzy Osbourne. Martin Alexander has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirk displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Alexander throws out the jab.
Kirk throws a predictable looking body shot
and Alexander counters with a right hand to the body.
Kirk comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
No joy there for Alexander, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kirk just misses with a punch to the body.
Alexander's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kirk under the eye.
Alexander throws a series of punches but Kirk avoids them all with ease.
Alexander on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kirk has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nice straight punches there by Kirk. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kirk.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kirk throws a lazy right hand but Alexander sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
James Kirk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Alexander appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Kirk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Alexander.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kirk, as that shot connected.

Alexander is rocked!
James Kirk seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kirk fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Alexander out cold! Brutal finish!
