Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucas Pinheiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ralo Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinheiro connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gracie. Gracie circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by Pinheiro.
Nice takedown defense from Pinheiro. No joy for Gracie on that attempt.
Gracie clinches with his opponent.
Gracie drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pinheiro gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lucas Pinheiro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ralo Gracie.
Pinheiro pushes Gracie back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Gracie jumps guard but Pinheiro turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
A left hand lands to the body for Pinheiro.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pinheiro throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Gracie changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pinheiro fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Pinheiro is leaning against Gracie and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pinheiro avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

It looks like Ralo Gracie has been cut.
Pinheiro lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Gracie is rocked!
Gracie changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pinheiro fights it off and pushes away nicely.
