Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Testy Fives!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dingus Mingus!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mingus drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mingus landing with the ground and pound.
Fives is working an open guard so Mingus takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Mingus has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Fives misses with a series of wild punches.
And Mingus tries to counter it with a takedown but Fives pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Mingus gets a clinch.
Fives gets underhooks to prevent Mingus's takedown attempt.
Mingus tries for a takedown but Fives manages to get underhooks.
Mingus tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Testy Fives has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dingus Mingus.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fives is pressed up against the cage. Mingus has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fives down to the mat. Fives avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mingus gets a takedown into half guard.
Mingus content to control rather than advance.
Mingus thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Mingus works his way into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mingus stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fives tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Testy Fives is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mingus wants to clinch but Fives slips to the side
and Fives counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Fives pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mingus is out of range and Fives settles back down.
Mingus shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mingus showed some decent athleticism there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mingus stalling.
Mingus seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Fives is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
