The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurosaki swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Arroyo counters with a right hand to the body.
Kurosaki misses with a takedown
and Arroyo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kurosaki is defended easily by Arroyo.

Kurosaki shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are battling for position here. Arroyo manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Kurosaki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Arroyo defends it easily.

Arroyo postures up and lands a big shot to Kurosaki's brow.
Arroyo is in close to Kurosaki's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Arroyo working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Arroyo's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Kurosaki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Arroyo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kurosaki is trying to hold Arroyo in close to prevent damage but Arroyo has managed to pass into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Arroyo connects with a nice short shot to Kurosaki's temple.
