Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Feliciano De Vigilancia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Albatross!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Albatross circles away from the clinch attempt.
Albatross lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Albatross tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but De Vigilancia was well out of range. Poor timing from Albatross.
Albatross swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
De Vigilancia feints a jab promting Albatross to slip. De Vigilancia then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Albatross slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Albatross tries to clinch there but De Vigilancia circles away.

De Vigilancia tries to keep at a distance but Albatross has taken the fight into the clinch.
De Vigilancia has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Albatross is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
De Vigilancia fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Albatross tries for a takedown. No joy.
De Vigilancia tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Albatross smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Feliciano De Vigilancia. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Albatross misses with a few strikes there.
As Albatross looks to move away, De Vigilancia throws a big counter combo but Albatross just gets out of the way.
Albatross misses with a shot to the body
and De Vigilancia cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
De Vigilancia wants to slow Albatross down by chopping away at his legs.
Albatross doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Feliciano De Vigilancia.
I think De Vigilancia has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
