Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between My Fighter (ranked 24062 p4p, 23915 weight class) and Bruno Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, My Fighter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruno Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Fighter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Salvacion's waist but Salvacion gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter off to one side.
Salvacion tries for a takedown but Fighter circles away easily

and Fighter counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fighter.
Fighter postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Salvacion is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Salvacion has control of Fighter's left arm, preventing Fighter from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Salvacion is continuing to stall.
Fighter content to stall in guard here.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Fighter shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fighter showed some decent athleticism there.

Fighter decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Salvacion fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fighter sprawls well initially but Salvacion persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Fighter manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Salvacion keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Fighter breaks the clinch.
Fighter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Salvacion tries to avoid it but Fighter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Salvacion to the ground. Salvacion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And Salvacion tries to counter it with a takedown but Fighter pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Fighter doesn't succeed with the takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for My Fighter. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fighter moves out of range of the body kick.
Fighter is looking for a counter combo.
Fighter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Salvacion's waist but Salvacion gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter off to one side.

Salvacion fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fighter sprawls well initially but Salvacion persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fighter looks like he's trying to stand up.

My Fighter dominated that round.

Fighter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salvacion.
Fighter tries to counter with a takedown but Salvacion is quick to defend against it.
Fighter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion avoids it really well and circles away.
It seemed like Salvacion was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter darts in looking for a takedown but Salvacion gets double underhooks and turns Fighter into the cage.

Salvacion is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fighter to keep the fight standing.

Salvacion escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Salvacion goes for a double leg but Fighter avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fighter continues to drive forward.
My Fighter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Salvacion.
Fighter tries to land a front kick but Salvacion steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Salvacion is trying to counter with his kicks.
Salvacion goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Salvacion tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fighter swivels and escapes.
Fighter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Salvacion sprawls well. Salvacion wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fighter gets slowly back to his feet.
Fighter with a poor takedown
and Salvacion counters with a solid body kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A nice leg kick from Salvacion, right into the meat of the thigh.
Salvacion throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fighter's waist but Fighter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salvacion off to one side.
Fighter jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Salvacion drives through with a takedown into Fighter's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Salvacion stays in close to Fighter's body and controls the position.
Fighter wants to get back to his feet but Salvacion is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fighter wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Fighter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Salvacion is one step ahead there.

Salvacion drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fighter manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Salvacion has Fighter in his guard.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Bruno Salvacion will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Salvacion stops Fighter from getting back to his feet.

Fighter manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Salvacion shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fighter is trying to defend but Salvacion finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Fighter manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Salvacion keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fighter is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Fighter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Fighter gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fighter is looking to stand back up but Salvacion counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Fighter.

And that's the end of the fight!
My Fighter showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Fighter has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
