The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Emelianenko rushes Sixes and presses him up against the cage.
Emelianenko tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Sixes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Emelianenko gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sixes.
Sixes wants to stall.

Sixes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Testy Sixes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sixes rushes Emelianenko and presses him up against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Emelianenko is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sixes is defending well for now.

Sixes tries to pull guard but Emelianenko won't allow it.

Sixes tries to break the clinch but Emelianenko is controlling the position.

Sixes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Emelianenko is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

A frustrated look appears on Sixes's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Emelianenko tries to throw a body punch but Sixes avoids it by throwing Emelianenko back against the cage.

Sixes ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sixes no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Sixes can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Emelianenko controls the pace.

It looks like Roman Emelianenko has been cut.

Emelianenko has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Sixes tries to stall but Emelianenko uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Sixes jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Emelianenko walks away with a smile on his face. Sixes gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Sixes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Roman Emelianenko has scored more points in the clinch so far.
Sixes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Emelianenko just stands there and leans against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sixes tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Emelianenko smiles and moves away.

Sixes moves into the clinch successfully.
Sixes tries to pull guard but Emelianenko forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Emelianenko misses with the head strike.
Sixes tries a body shot but Emelianenko blocks it.
Emelianenko stalls.

Sixes manages to break the clinch.
Emelianenko throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Sixes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Emelianenko moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Emelianenko swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Emelianenko scores with a nice strike.

Sixes gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Emelianenko lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sixes jumps guard but Emelianenko stands there with Sixes around his waist. Sixes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sixes is trying to break free.
A nice right hand lands inside from Emelianenko.
Sixes is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Emelianenko is defending well.
Emelianenko misses with some punches.
Emelianenko lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sixes backwards.
Emelianenko tries to throw a body punch but Sixes avoids it by throwing Emelianenko back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sixes tries to score a body lock takedown but Emelianenko shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Sixes wants to stall.
Sixes is trying to break free.
Sixes drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Emelianenko takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Sixes misses with a leg kick
and Emelianenko counters with a crisp right that sends Sixes to the canvas! Emelianenko follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
