Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Sainty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leo Vuce!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vuce scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Sainty looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Vuce has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Desert Fitness & Training -13 Elites/1 Sensational. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Sainty tries to get to full guard but Vuce has control of the leg.
Vuce wants to work for an arm triangle but Sainty is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sainty is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vuce pulls his head out easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sainty is looking to improve his position.
Vuce wants to work for an arm triangle but Sainty is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Vuce prevents Sainty from improving his position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Vuce throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sainty was covering up waiting for the punch and Vuce finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Vuce thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Sainty had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vuce defends it easily.

Sainty looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Vuce passes into side control.

Vuce has hold of Sainty's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Sainty seems comfortable defending it but Vuce has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Sainty is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Sainty is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Vuce couldn't care less - he's delighted!
