Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broden on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Joakim Broden has been cut.
Broden has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bihamta finds it's way round the side to connect with Broden's head.
Bihamta fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Broden throws a counter combo.

Broden jabs Bihamta right on the nose. Bihamta blinks but takes it well.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Broden has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A little jabbing left from Broden on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Broden feints a jab promting Bihamta to slip. Broden then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bihamta slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Broden throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Broden lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Broden is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bihamta gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

A looping hook to the body misses from Bihamta. Broden does a little dance to reset his feet.

Broden scores with a three punch combo!
Broden cracks Bihamta with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Bihamta misses the shot to the body.
Broden connects with a looping right hand.

Broden rushes Bihamta and presses him up against the cage.
Broden scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Knees to the body from Broden.

Broden using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bihamta has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Broden tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Broden jumps into guard, dragging Bihamta to the mat.
Broden tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bihamta wants to get up but he can't break Broden's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Broden is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Broden passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bihamta!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Broden has hold of Bihamta's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bihamta manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Bihamta defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Broden.

Broden quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Broden but it's paid off an Bihamta is forced to tap! Nice work by Broden.
