Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Rudyk (ranked 4900 p4p, 4860 weight class) and Reza Chas (ranked 496 p4p, 494 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chas is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Chas throws a leg kick which misses Rudyk's front leg but catches the back leg as Rudyk tries to avoid it.

Rudyk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rudyk is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Rudyk cracks Chas with an open hand slap.
Chas throws a body shot but no joy.
Rudyk throws a right and a left that Chas avoids nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Chas is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Rudyk tries to bum rush Chas with a series of wild strikes but Chas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rudyk throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chas stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Chas scores with a head kick. Rudyk tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rudyk throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chas.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dan Rudyk will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

The fighters circle, before Chas throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Rudyk's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Chas lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
