Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bernardo Bombardini (ranked 4441 p4p, 4406 weight class) and Jesperro Knudsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bombardini lands with a kick to the temple. Knudsen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Knudsen fails to land the takedown.
Bombardini tries to counter with a takedown but Knudsen is quick to defend against it.
A head kick misses from Bombardini.
Bombardini shoots in for a takedown but Knudsen shows good takedown defense.
Knudsen shoots for a double leg takedown but Bombardini sprawls well. He's pushed Knudsen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bombardini throws a quick counter head kick but Knudsen was just out of range.
Bombardini circles away from the clinch attempt.

Knudsen tries to clinch up but Bombardini circles away and keeps his distance.
As Knudsen tries to get set, Bombardini tries to push him back and clinch up but Knudsen manages to avoid the attempt.
Bombardini shoots in but no luck this time.
Knudsen lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Knudsen gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bombardini wants to get back to striking at distance but Knudsen won't allow it.

Knudsen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bombardini as he jumps to the side.
Bombardini jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

and Knudsen counters with a three punch combo that has Bombardini backing up. Bombardini nods at Knudsen to acknowledge the strikes.

Bombardini shoots for a takedown but Knudsen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Knudsen.

Bombardini shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Knudsen defends it nicely.
Bombardini is breathing heavily.
Knudsen throws a sloppy body shot
and Bombardini counters with a series of strikes. Knudsen will be more careful next time no doubt.
Bombardini tries to clinch there but Knudsen circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Knudsen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bombardini is one step ahead there.
Knudsen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Knudsen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bombardini sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Knudsen's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bombardini wants to stand up but Knudsen is controlling the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Knudsen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bombardini bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Bombardini goes for a takedown attempt but Knudsen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bombardini throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Knudsen counters with a nice uppercut.

Bombardini leaves Knudsen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Bombardini is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Despite the aggression on Knudsen's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

A nice side step and Knudsen releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Knudsen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bombardini avoids it really well and circles away.

Knudsen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Knudsen wants it to stay on the feet.

No luck for Knudsen with that takedown attempt.
Bombardini is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Knudsen.
Bombardini shoots in but Knudsen avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Bombardini's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Knudsen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bombardini scrambles back to his feet.

Knudsen gets underhooks to prevent Bombardini's takedown attempt.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jesperro Knudsen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Bombardini changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Knudsen tries to avoid it but Bombardini manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Knudsen to the ground. Knudsen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bombardini tries to sprawl but Knudsen drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Bombardini has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Knudsen is on him like a limpet, forcing Bombardini back against the cage.

Knudsen doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Knudsen looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bombardini passes into side control.

Bombardini is trying to get an arm triangle but Knudsen is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Knudsen is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Bombardini is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Bernardo Bombardini overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Knudsen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Bombardini can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Knudsen is looking to escape.

Knudsen defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bombardini.
Knudsen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bombardini thowing shots but they're missing.
Knudsen is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Poor strikes thrown by Bombardini there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Bombardini really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Knudsen is trying to escape the mount.
Bombardini trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Bombardini avoids the attempt from Knudsen to control.
Knudsen is squirming around, avoiding Bombardini's attempts to control the action.
Bombardini thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bernardo Bombardini showed his dominance in that final round.
