Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alfie Harper (ranked 5609 p4p, 5050 weight class) and Wallace Everett (ranked 421 p4p, 391 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alfie Harper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wallace Everett! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Everett shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Harper sprawls well. Harper wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Everett gets slowly back to his feet. Harper seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Everett instigates a clinch. Everett fails to pull the fight into his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harper misses with a knee to the head. Everett is trying to stall.

That's one minute gone in the round. Harper tries a knee to the head but Everett blocks it.
Everett is trying to force a seperation but Harper has the dominant position. Everett is trying to pull guard but Harper has him pressed against the cage. Alfie Harper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wallace Everett. Everett manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Harper wants to stand but Everett is controlling his posture from full guard. Harper is sitting in close to Everett's body. Everett has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Harper is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Harper is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Everett.
