Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Subject Fourteen (ranked 5365 p4p, 5406 weight class) and Deshawn Shaw (ranked 406 p4p, 409 weight class). Fourteen comes to the cage accompanied by BTS ON. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Subject Fourteen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Deshawn Shaw!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Shaw blocking some punches.
Fourteen fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Fourteen working hard to break the clinch.
Shaw wants to take the fight to the mat but Fourteen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Fourteen lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Shaw manages to break the clinch.
Shaw tries to keep at a distance but Fourteen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Shaw blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Shaw pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fourteen clinches up with Shaw and pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shaw tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Fourteen just stands there and leans against the cage.
Fourteen jumps guard but Shaw turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Shaw wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Fourteen manages to pull guard.
Fourteen throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fourteen keeping moving, preventing Shaw from controlling successfully.
Fourteen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shaw gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fourteen pushes a forearm under Shaw's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Shaw is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Subject Fourteen!
Subject Fourteen was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
