Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Timmer Jones (ranked 4989 p4p, 5304 weight class) and Allen Mack (ranked 383 p4p, 395 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Timmer Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Allen Mack!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones gets the takedown into side control.
Jones throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Mack wants to control but Jones postures up.
Mack is looking to reverse the position.
Jones is trying to ground and pound but Mack uses the momentary lack of control by Jones to regain half guard.
Jones definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jones seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mack does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Mack gets full guard.
Mack lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mack tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Mack is proving a slippery customer.
Mack must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Mack forces his way into half guard.
Mack has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Mack is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Mack looks for the body kick but Jones saw that one coming.
Mack fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away.
Mack uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones.
Jones avoids a kick to the body.
Mack is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mack connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jones. Jones circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Timmer Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones throws a combination that misses
and Mack counters with a one-two to the body.
Jones throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Mack fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Mack persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mack trying to pass the guard but Jones defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mack trying to control the action but Jones is working from the bottom.

Mack stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
A leg kick checked by Jones.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mack dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Mack counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Jones!
Mack is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Mack tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mack has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Jones is not content to let Mack control the position.

Mack decides to stand back up. Mack steps back and let's Jones get back to his feet.
Jones misses with a looping right.
Jones misses with a straight left.
Mack misses with a wild combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Mack dives in and scores a takedown into Jones's guard.
Jones is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mack dives into side control.


Mack tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mack has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Jones tries to bench press Mack off him but Mack keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mack tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Mack stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Mack misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Allen Mack dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Mack lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Mack tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mack.
Jones throws a predictable looking body shot

and Mack counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mack.
Mack trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
Mack might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jones haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Mack pushes down on Jones's leg and manages to get into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mack wants to take a breather but Jones is having none of it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mack postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Jones to stand up.

Mack works Jones's body with a nice hook.
Nice shot lands for Mack.
Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mack has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jones is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Mack tries to land a front kick but Jones steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Allen Mack seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Mack fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jones looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A big left from Jones misses.
Mack tests Jones's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A slapping body kick lands there for Mack.
Jones is looking to score with low kicks.
Jones takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jones misses the body punch
and Mack counters with a left to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mack swinging wildly here.
Mack tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A quick step to the side and Jones tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mack avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mack lands a glancing blow to the side of Jones's head.
Mack misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mack has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Mack swinging wildly here.
Mack misses with a wild body shot.
Mack thuds his shin into the meat of Jones's side.
Jones is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mack.
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.

Jones throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mack sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jones is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Mack's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Jones drops his hands momentarily and Mack takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Mack tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jones defends well and Mack ends up having to push Jones into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Jones swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Jones thows a left - swing and a miss!
It seemed like Mack was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Mack will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Mack ducks under a wild hook from Jones.
Mack throws a big counter head kick but Jones avoids it with no problem.
Mack closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Mack throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A jab from Mack does it's job there.
Mack has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Mack slips a straight right by Jones.
Mack swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Mack misses with a body kick.
Mack is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Jones takes one to the chin there.

Mack misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Good leg kick by Mack.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mack tries to land a front kick but Jones steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mack misses with a double jab.
An attempted straight right counter from Jones misses the target.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Mack scores with a takedown into Jones's guard.
Mack is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Mack wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Allen Mack showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Mack throws a head kick that misses.
Jones throws a lazy right hand but Mack sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mack is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Mack shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jones napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mack has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Jones!
Allen Mack has got the better of the ground game so far.
Mack trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Mack looking to control and managing it successfully.
Jones is trying to escape the mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mack looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Mack throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Jones has his hands clasped together but Mack breaks the hold and Jones is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Mack!
