Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rua.
Rua is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from camel. No joy for Rua on that attempt.
camel closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
camel works his way into side control.
camel stands up and beckons Rua to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

camel throws a strike but Rua rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

camel is looking for a choke. Rua gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Rua manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now camel is on top in guard.

and camel counters with a shoot takedown. Rua fights it but they end up in guard.

Rua is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rua sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

camel has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Rua manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. camel manages to get himself to full guard.
camel bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rua's guard.
