Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Harera (ranked 4910 p4p, 4602 weight class) and Jonathan Edgar (ranked 492 p4p, 465 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar misses with a straight left.
Harera is looking to counter the offense by Edgar and move into the clinch.
Edgar closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Nice sprawl there from Edgar as Harera shoots in.

Harera closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Edgar's guard.

Harera is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Edgar to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Edgar shrugs it off.

Harera stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Jonathan Edgar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Edgar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Harera counters with a left and a right that stings Edgar.
Edgar slaps away a takedown attempt from Harera, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Harera moves in looking to clinch but Edgar pushes him off.

Lucas Harera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A lazy left from Edgar finds it's target.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harera tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Edgar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Edgar swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Harera counters with a left and a right that stings Edgar.

and Harera counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Horrible takedown attempt by Harera or perhaps it was just good defense by Edgar, which made it look bad.

Edgar cracks Harera with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Harera looking for a triangle here. Edgar is fighting it but it looks tight! Harera pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Edgar is tapping out - this one is all over!
