Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Strasburg (ranked 3424 p4p, 2779 weight class) and Geoff Jeffries (ranked 436 p4p, 366 weight class). Strasburg's entrance music is The Red - Chevelle. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Strasburg is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jeffries really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Strasburg. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Strasburg bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jeffries's guard.

Jeffries controls Strasburg momentarily but Strasburg frees himself.
Strasburg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jeffries swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Strasburg has hold of Jeffries's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jeffries tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Strasburg cranks the arm and Jeffries screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jeffries, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
