The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gordon moves into the clinch successfully.

Gordon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lahti walks away with a smile on his face. Gordon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Gordon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Lahti is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Gordon wants to control from the top but Lahti keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gordon loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Lahti is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gordon dives into side control.

Gordon is working Lahti over with some ground and pound from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gordon wants to control but Lahti is keeping him busy.

Gordon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gordon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Gordon stands up.

Lahti creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gordon's defenses.

It looks like James Gordon has been cut.
Lahti gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Lahti crunches a lovely knee into Gordon's ribcage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lahti creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gordon's defenses.

Lahti lands a vicious elbow to the side of Gordon's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Lahti tries to finish him with strikes but Gordon still seems able to defend himself so Lahti steps back and lets Gordon get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

Gordon is rocked!
Lahti misses with a series of wild punches.
Gordon is still on wobbly legs! Can Lahti finish him?
Lahti finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Gordon seems to have recovered his senses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Gordon tries to score a body lock takedown but Lahti shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Lahti lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Gordon.
Lahti lands a knee to the head.
Lahti is muscling Gordon up against the cage and as Gordon bounces back off, Lahti cracks him with a huge right hand! Gordon crumples to the mat - he's out cold! This one is all over!
