Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Sleeth (ranked 24179 p4p, 6042 weight class) and Rich Voss (ranked 658 p4p, 561 weight class). Rich Voss has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voss lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sleeth at a distance.

Voss manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sleeth on his heels. He'll look to pass Sleeth 's guard now, I'm sure.
Voss advances position into side control!
Sleeth is letting Voss control him for a moment.
Voss working away.
Voss tries to move to mount but Sleeth blocks the move with his legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sleeth on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Sleeth gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Sleeth is working to get back to half guard.

Voss controlling his opponent.
Sleeth bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Voss wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Let's hope that Voss has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Sleeth won't allow Voss to sweep him here.
Voss is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Voss is looking for a kimura but Sleeth is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Voss to get the leverage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Voss connects with a nice short shot to Sleeth 's temple.
Sleeth tries to roll over but Voss keeps him under control.
Sleeth wants to control but Voss is keeping busy.

Voss has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Sleeth defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Voss's arms.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Voss controlling the positon.
Sleeth is covering up but some of the strikes from Voss are getting through and doing damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Voss has his arm under Sleeth 's chin here. Game over son! Voss squeezes tightly and Sleeth is forced to tap out!
