Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw lands a jab to Gracie's midsection.
Shaw darts in looking for a takedown but Gracie gets double underhooks and turns Shaw into the cage.
Gracie tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Shaw works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Gracie wants to sweep here but Shaw controlling him for the moment.
Gracie is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Shaw wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shaw defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shaw doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Gracie is tightening it up a little... Shaw has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Shaw reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Shaw taps out! Nice BJJ there by Gracie!
