Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thor White (ranked 1977 p4p, 4116 weight class) and Jayson Smith (ranked 259 p4p, 503 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jayson Smith!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from White as Smith shoots in.
It looked like White wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Smith has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Smith moves out of range as White strikes.
Smith has his takedown stuffed
enabling White to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Jayson Smith has been cut.
Thor White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jayson Smith.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Smith.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Smith walks straight into a right hand from White - that's dropped him! White jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Smith from any more punishment! Smith complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

A relieved looking Thor White thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
