And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daughtrey doesn't manage to clinch there - Weight circles away.
Weight was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Daughtrey drives through and clinches with Weight against the cage.
Weight lands a hook to the side of the head.
I was talking to Weight's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
A right handed body shot lands from Daughtrey.
Daughtrey swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Daughtrey blocks a body shot from Weight.
Weight lands a nice shot to the body.
Weight struggles to land a body shot inside as Daughtrey controls his hands.
Weight working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Daughtrey lands a right hand.
Weight manages to break the clinch.
Weight will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Daughtrey throws a nice looking combination but Weight bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Weight gets tackled into the cage by Daughtrey. Daughtrey maintains the clinch.
Daughtrey struggles to land a body shot inside as Weight controls his hands.
Weight breaks the clinch.

Daughtrey misses with a hook
and Weight counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Daughtrey misses with a jab to the body
and Weight counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Kevin Daughtrey has been cut.

Daughtrey punishes Weight's body with a nice straight punch.
Weight tries to keep at a distance but Daughtrey has taken the fight into the clinch.
Weight blocks a body shot from Daughtrey.
Weight lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Daughtrey backwards.
Daughtrey throws an elbow but it misses.
Weight breaks the clinch.
A big left from Weight misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Daughtrey misses the target.
A little feinted left hand from Weight on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Daughtrey on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Daughtrey is rocked!
Daughtrey doesn't manage to clinch there - Weight circles away.
Weight avoids the body shot from Daughtrey.
Daughtrey tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Weight counters with a nice right hand that sends Daughtrey toppling to the canvas! Daughtrey scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Weight finish him?!
Daughtrey is still on wobbly legs! Can Weight finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Weight rattles Daughtrey with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Daughtrey tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Weight dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Daughtrey stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Welter Weight!
