Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Tromble (ranked 3527 p4p, 5430 weight class) and Blinky Billy (ranked 150 p4p, 169 weight class). Blinky Billy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Tromble ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blinky Billy! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Billy misses the shot to the body. Tromble feints and as Billy raises his hands in defense, Tromble changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tromble accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Tromble throws a strike but Billy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Tromble has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Billy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Tromble is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tromble is trying to hold Billy in close to prevent damage but Billy has managed to pass into half guard.
Tromble wants to control but Billy is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Billy tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Tromble trying to control here.
Tromble is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tromble controlling the position well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Tromble tries to get to full guard but Billy has control of the leg. Tromble is working hard here to advance position. Tromble trying to hold on to Billy's head to control him but Billy postures up.
Billy blocks the strikes from Tromble .
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Tromble is looking for a sweep. Billy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Tromble , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Billy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tromble throws a sloppy body shot
letting Billy counter with a right hand. Billy lands a big head kick that sends Tromble to the canvas! Billy follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Blinky Billy! A victorious Blinky Billy thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
