Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sig Sauer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Simon Slade!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slade throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Slade fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sauer on the side of the head.
It looks like Sig Sauer has been cut.
Slade lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sauer at a distance.
Slade lands a big uppercut and Sauer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sauer looks OK. Slade waves Sauer back to his feet!
Sauer is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Slade drops Sauer with a straight right hand, right on the button! Slade follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Simon Slade!
Simon Slade spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
