Jim Bob McDonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McDonald lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Overflow fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McDonald on the side of the head.

The fighters circling - McDonald throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Overflow drops McDonald with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but McDonald looks back up at him and smiles so Overflow waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Jim Bob McDonald has been cut.
McDonald chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Overflow can pounce on him.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

After the fight, Massive Overflow was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Jim Bob McDonald was interviewed post fight and said 'A country boy can survive'.
