Putin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rasputin Vladimir Putin Love The Way You Move. Zenzo Rai has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin misses with a shot to the body
and Rai counters with an outside leg kick.
Rai scores with a nice head shot.
Putin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rai scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Putin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Putin takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Putin tries to clinch up but Rai circles away and keeps his distance.
Putin walks forward, straight into a front kick from Rai.
Rai connects with a solid leg kick.

Putin has closed the distance and engaged Rai in a clinch.
Rai lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rai avoiding damage as Putin throws knees to the body.
Rai fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Putin blocks an uppercut.
Putin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Putin tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Rai breaks the clinch.
Putin feints and then cracks Rai's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rai down.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Putin stalks Rai and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rai's face. Rai staggers backwards, shaken.

Putin takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Putin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rai! But no joy.
Putin misses with a straight left.
Rai connects with a body shot that sends Putin's belly button to the back.
Rai slips under a jab.
Rai scores with a jab to the head.
Putin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rai lands with an overhand left.
Rai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rai blocks a head kick by Putin.
Putin misses with a body shot.
Rai misses with a kick to the body.
Rai lands a high kick!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rai lands with a shot to the body.
Rai fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Rai throws a head kick that misses.
Rai slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Putin checks a low kick from Rai.

Rai works Putin's body with a nice hook.
Putin wants to clinch.
Rai throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Putin.
Rai throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Putin works the jab nicely.
Putin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Putin misses with a double jab
and Rai counters with a nice body kick.
Putin connects with a jab.
Putin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Rai sizes up Putin with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Putin throws a hook but Rai blocks it.
Rai throws out a counter right but Putin avoids it with no problem.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rai!

Rai avoids the body shot from Putin.
Rai circles away from the clinch attempt.
Putin connects with a crisp jab.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Rai - that will leave a mark!
Rai scores with a jab.
Rai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Putin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Rai lands a big head kick that sends Putin tumbling to the mat! Rai takes a step backwards and waves Putin back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Putin is rocked!

Putin is looking to clinch but Rai is avoiding it.
Oh Putin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rai scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Rai looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Rai backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Putin's temple! It sends Putin violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Rai celebrates and the doctors try to help Putin!

Zenzo Rai bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
