Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryszard Wojcik (ranked 199 p4p, 444 weight class) and Jabbar Omarov (ranked 26 p4p, 63 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryszard Wojcik!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jabbar Omarov!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Wojcik misses its intended target.
Wojcik looks to land a right hand but Omarov moved out of range.
Wojcik throws the left hand but Omarov avoids the punch easily.
Omarov is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Omarov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wojcik throws out the jab.
A countering left hand to the body from Omarov misses.
Omarov lands with an overhand left.
Wojcik throws a jab when Omarov was well out of range.

Omarov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wojcik moves away.
A little feinted left hand from Wojcik on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Omarov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wojcik is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Omarov's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Omarov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wojcik is fending him off so far but Omarov persists. Nope, Wojcik circles away and we're back to standing.
Omarov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Jabbar Omarov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looked like Wojcik wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Omarov stuns Wojcik with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
