Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ira Wright (ranked 457 p4p, 458 weight class) and Maverick Syndal (ranked 70 p4p, 71 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ira Wright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Maverick Syndal!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright wants to slow Syndal down by chopping away at his legs.
Syndal throws out a counter right but Wright avoids it with no problem.
Wright cracks Syndal with a right hand to the side of the head.

Syndal has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Syndal scores with a one two! Wright had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

That has opened up Maverick Syndal's cut even more.
A punch lands to the side of Wright 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Wright throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Syndal stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Wright lands a glancing blow to the side of Syndal's head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Syndal throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wright tried to score with a low kick but Syndal checks it.

That was a close round but I would say that Ira Wright will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Wright's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Wright walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Syndal checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Syndal is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wright.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Syndal on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Syndal lands a big uppercut and Wright crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Wright looks OK. Syndal waves Wright back to his feet!
Syndal drops Wright with a straight right hand, right on the button! Syndal follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maverick Syndal!
A very excited looking Maverick Syndal made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
