Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gaultier Girard (ranked 51 p4p, 147 weight class) and Frank Stein (ranked 10 p4p, 22 weight class). Stein has chosen Red - Falling Sky as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Frank Stein enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 29 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gaultier Girard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 36 - 22 - 1, fighting out of New York, Frank Stein! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Girard lands a leg kick that knocks Stein off balance momentarily. Stein slips under a jab from Girard. Girard works the jab nicely.
It looks like Frank Stein has been cut. Girard thows a left - swing and a miss! Girard throws a nice looking combination but Stein bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stein wants to counter with a clinch but Girard pushes him away. Girard just misses with a punch to the body.
It seemed like Stein was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Girard misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stein.
Stein now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Good leg kick by Girard. A low kick from Girard misses and Stein connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Gaultier Girard has been cut. Both fighters circling a little - Girard finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Girard smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Girard swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Girard loads up on a big right hand but Stein slips the punch. Stein looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stein ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Stein looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Girard tried to score with a low kick but Stein checks it. A bone on bone clash there as Stein blocks the leg kick.
Stein tries to counter by closing the distance. Girard scores with a jab to the jaw. Girard throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Stein shapes to counter with a head kick. Stein takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Stein takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Girard throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Stein uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Girard.
Stein wants to counter the offense by Girard and move into the clinch position. Girard scores with a nice body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Girard misses with a hook. Stein tries to counter with a clinch but Girard shakes him off and moves away. A good leg kick by Girard. Stein ducks under a wild hook from Girard. Girard throws a big shot that misses. Stein tries to counter by closing the distance. Girard throws a chopping leg kick but Stein manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Girard lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
This has been an exciting period of action! Girard with a nice calf kick. Stein takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Girard connects with a single shot there. Girard's corner calls for a 1-2. Girard obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Stein takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Girard misses with an uppercut. Stein saw that one coming. Girard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stein checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Stein looks like he wants to counter punch here. Girard throws a leg kick but Stein checks it. Girard keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That has opened up Frank Stein's cut even more. Girard throws a leg kick but Stein sees it coming and moves out of range. Stein let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Girard fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stein looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Crunch! Girard slams his shin into Stein's torso. Girard walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Stein checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Stein moves out of range of the body kick. Girard is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Girard throws a solid leg kick but Stein takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Girard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Girard feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Stein sprawling to the canvas! Stein rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Girard finish him?!
Stein is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Girard moves in close and cracks Stein with a massive right hand! Stein, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Girard!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gaultier Girard! Gaultier Girard decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
