Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albert Pulkkinen (ranked 305 p4p, 647 weight class) and Mark Kerr (ranked 50 p4p, 82 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Albert Pulkkinen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 32 - 22 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Kerr! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerr throws a jab when Pulkkinen was well out of range. Nice straight punches there by Pulkkinen. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Pulkkinen. Kerr looks to throw the jab but Pulkkinen is out of range. Pulkkinen was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Mark Kerr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kerr misses with a body shot.
Pulkkinen tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Kerr takes the fight into the clinch. Pulkkinen tries a body shot but Kerr blocks it.
Pulkkinen scores with an uppercut up the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pulkkinen throws a punch but it's blocked by Kerr. Knees in the clinch landing for Kerr.
Pulkkinen is breathing heavily. Kerr makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A left hand lands to the body for Kerr.
A short uppercut from Kerr. A short body shot lands from Kerr as the two fighters clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action! Nice elbow from Kerr.
It looks like Albert Pulkkinen has been cut. Kerr working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerr gets a trip takedown into half guard. Kerr throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kerr missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kerr sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pulkkinen defending well though. Kerr controlling the action here. Kerr's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. More stalling from Kerr. Pulkkinen has hold of Kerr's hands but Kerr slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Pulkkinen won't allow Kerr to pass to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pulkkinen tries to get to full guard but Kerr has control of the leg. Kerr is figuring out what he wants to do next. Kerr moves nicely into side control. Kerr scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Pulkkinen to see if he's OK.
Albert Pulkkinen's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Kerr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kerr cracks Pulkkinen with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Pulkkinen is rocked!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Albert Pulkkinen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mark Kerr! Mark Kerr decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
