Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alfred Drouin (ranked 2161 p4p, 2971 weight class) and William Riker (ranked 241 p4p, 311 weight class). Drouin comes into the arena with Bones - GraveyardGod blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Riker!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riker stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Drouin throws a sloppy body shot
and Riker counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Drouin!

Riker connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Drouin some visible discomfort.
My spies in The House Of Pain inform me that Riker has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Drouin wants to get back to his feet but Riker drags him back down.
Drouin is letting Riker control him for a moment.
Riker lands a nice forearm strike.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Drouin is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Riker has just dragged him back down to the mat.

A big strike lands for Riker! That's really hurt Drouin and he's turned his back - Riker keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Riker jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
