The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard throws the left hand but Alvarez avoids the punch easily.
Howard misses with a series of wild punches.
Howard misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nice body punch from Howard.
Alvarez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Alvarez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Alvarez looks gassed!
Howard ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Howard connects with a nice cross there... Alvarez is looking wobbly and Howard recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Alvarez to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Howard jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
