Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Dungey (ranked 1016 p4p, 1794 weight class) and Japa Koniu (ranked 123 p4p, 204 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 22 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Japa Koniu!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dungey throws a low kick but Koniu moves out of range easily.
Koniu throws a body kick that misses.
Koniu lands a jab.
Dungey stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Koniu.
Koniu misses with a hook.
Koniu throws a nice inside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Koniu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dungey.
Dungey was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Japa Koniu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dungey throws a shot from downtown. Koniu moves away and avoids it.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Koniu - that will leave a mark!
Dungey is breathing heavily.
Koniu tests Dungey's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Eric Dungey has been cut.
