Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Cromphout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davy Mitshubishi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Davy Mitshubishi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kevin Cromphout! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Davy Mitshubishi! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cromphout fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mitshubishi sprawls well initially but Cromphout persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Mitshubishi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cromphout in particular looking to stall. Cromphout is looking for a kimura but Mitshubishi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cromphout to get the leverage. Mitshubishi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mitshubishi is looking to escape. Cromphout trying to control the action but Mitshubishi is working from the bottom. Cromphout is looking for a kimura but Mitshubishi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cromphout to get the leverage. Cromphout is looking to take a break and control but Mitshubishi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cromphout connects with a nice short shot to Mitshubishi's temple. Cromphout is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Cromphout is tying to control. Mitshubishi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kevin Cromphout. Cromphout misses with a head kick.
Horrible takedown by Cromphout or perhaps it was just good defense by Mitshubishi which made him look bad. Cromphout will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Cromphout misses with a takedown attempt - Mitshubishi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mitshubishi drives through with a takedown into guard. Mitshubishi won't allow Cromphout to sweep him here. Mitshubishi drops back looking for a leg! Cromphout is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cromphout manages to kick Mitshubishi off! Mitshubishi jumps back into Cromphout's guard. Cromphout tries to strike from the bottom.
Mitshubishi gets to his feet - Cromphout follows without any prompting. Cromphout has his takedown stuffed and Mitshubishi counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Cromphout. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cromphout is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Mitshubishi pulls his head out easily. Cromphout is pressing down on Mitshubishi's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cromphout is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mitshubishi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Mitshubishi has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Cromphout to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mitshubishi is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Cromphout pulls down on the head and he's put Mitshubishi to sleep! This one is all over!
