Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wally Kruschev (ranked 342 p4p, 306 weight class) and John Titor (ranked 47 p4p, 41 weight class). Kruschev comes to the cage accompanied by Pissed Off and Mad About it (Texas Hippie Coalition). Titor has chosen John Titor-Going To Space as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wally Kruschev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Titor! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kruschev lands the left hand. Kruschev moves out of range as Titor strikes. Kruschev thuds a left hand into Titor's body. Titor displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kruschev throws out the jab. Kruschev lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Kruschev chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kruschev throws a body kick that misses and Titor counters with a nice leg kick. Kruschev scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Titor doesn't seem bothered though. Titor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kruschev thows a left - swing and a miss! Kruschev throws a head kick that misses. Titor takes a swing at Kruschev's ribcage but misses. A little feinted left hand from Kruschev on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Titor throws a hook but Kruschev blocks it. Titor looks to land a right hand but Kruschev moved out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Titor throws a series of punches but Kruschev avoids them all with ease. A solid leg kick lands there for Kruschev.
Titor feints a jab promting Kruschev to slip. Titor then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kruschev slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Kruschev uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Titor.
That's one minute gone in the round. Titor tests Kruschev's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kruschev throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Titor defending well as Kruschev loads up on a big left hand. Kruschev uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Titor. Titor closes the distance and clinches up with Kruschev, looking for a takedown. Titor pushes Kruschev against the cage but Kruschev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kruschev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Titor looks to land a combination but Kruschev avoids it well. Titor moves out of range of the strikes. Kruschev has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Far-Q Fight Club in the buildup to the fight. Kruschev jabbing away but nothing is landing. Titor connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kruschev momentarily.
Titor throws a nice looking combination but Kruschev bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A thudding body kick lands there by Kruschev!

A nice right hand lands inside from Titor. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Titor creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Kruschev lands a left hand.
Titor has picked Kruschev up - he's going for a ride! Titor dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kruschev moves into full guard.

Kruschev has his hands on Titor's head, controlling the position. Titor is looking to work some ground and pound but Kruschev has wrist control. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Kruschev working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Titor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Titor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kruschev misses the shot to the body. Titor looks to land a combination. Kruschev sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Kruschev throws a sloppy head kick and Titor moves out of range easily. Kruschev throws a push kick but Titor slaps the foot to one side. Kruschev misses the shot to the body. The fighters circle momentarily. Titor darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Kruschev tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Titor avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Titor throws a jab when Kruschev was well out of range. Kruschev is looking to land body kicks. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kruschev takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Titor throws a looping overhand right but Kruschev ducks down to avoid it. Kruschev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Titor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
An inside leg kick lands from Kruschev. Titor misses with a hook. Kruschev ducked under it nicely. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Wally Kruschev will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Kruschev throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Titor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Titor has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Titor there as he acknowledges the shot. Titor takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Titor throws a hook but Kruschev blocks it. Kruschev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Titor looks like he wants to counter punch here. Kruschev swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kruschev fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Kruschev fails in his attempt to clinch. Titor scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kruschev takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Kruschev wants to clinch up but Titor keeps it at a distance. Titor tries to move into range but Kruschev moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Titor avoids a kick to the body.
Titor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kruschev moves away. An attempted straight right counter from Kruschev misses the target. Titor steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kruschev. That one must have hurt. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kruschev misses with an uppercut. Kruschev throws a shot from downtown. Titor moves away and avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruschev connects with a leg kick. Titor connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Titor fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Titor throws a wild body kick that Kruschev sees coming a mile off. Titor misses with a shot to the body and Kruschev counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Kruschev as Titor tries to tie him up. With the fighters up against the cage, Kruschev throws an elbow but misses. Kruschev misses with a punch on the inside.
Titor has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Kruschev seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Titor can turn it around. Titor slows down the pace here.

This has been an exciting period of action! Titor trying to control the position but instead, Kruschev has worked for underhooks and has pushed Titor into the cage. Titor is looking to stall here but Kruschev recovers full guard. Titor missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kruschev wants to stand but Titor is controlling the position. Titor distracts Kruschev with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Titor loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wally Kruschev dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Titor chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Kruschev ducks under a wild hook from Titor. Kruschev throws a right and a left that Titor avoids nicely. Titor shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kruschev napping and manages to drive through into side control! This has been an exciting period of action! Titor throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Kruschev works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Titor sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kruschev defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruschev is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Titor's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Titor's back! Kruschev just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
A lull in the action here.
What can Titor do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Kruschev manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Wally Kruschev showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kruschev has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
