Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barry Jones (ranked 329 p4p, 250 weight class) and Angelo Moore (ranked 39 p4p, 32 weight class). Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Raining Blood - Slayer. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Moore.
Jones throws a right hand that Moore ducks under and follows up with a left that Moore also avoids with ease.
Moore moves away from the strike by Jones.
Jones stuns Moore with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

and Moore counters with a nice uppercut.

Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moore moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Moore! But no joy.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Moore's corner calls for a 1-2. Moore obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jones feints a jab promting Moore to slip. Jones then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Moore slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Jones stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Moore.

Jones has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Moore.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Moore might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Jones has got the better of the exchanges.

Moore drops Jones with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jones looks back up at him and smiles so Moore waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

An out of breath Angelo Moore thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
