Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jocko Mash (ranked 4468 p4p, 5210 weight class) and Dom Dober (ranked 0 p4p, 562 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jocko Mash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dom Dober!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mash lands a jab-cross combination.
Dober scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Mash shoots in and gets a takedown into Dober's guard.
Mash wants to control from the top but Dober keeps moving.
Mash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dober on the ground.
Mash postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dober is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Mash has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Dober is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Mash lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Dober is trying to keep Mash in close.
Mash wants to control from the top but Dober keeps moving.
Dober throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Mash showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mash accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mash manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dober on his heels. He'll look to pass Dober's guard now, I'm sure.

Dober not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Mash missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Mash stands up over Dober, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Dober is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dober holds on and takes a little breather.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Mash manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dober on his heels. He'll look to pass Dober's guard now, I'm sure.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Dober looks for a takedown but Mash sprawls well.
Mash is looking for a counter combo.

Dober is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mash sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Mash shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mash showed some decent athleticism there.
Dober looks like he's trying to stand up.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mash connects with a nice short shot to Dober's temple.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
A combination from Dober does no damage.
Dober tries for a takedown but Mash sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jocko Mash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dom Dober.

Mash pushes Dober up against the cage in a clinch.
Mash is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Mash is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dober can't fight it off and eventually Mash manages to take the fight to the floor. Dober looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dober is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mash is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dober can do to turn this around?
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Well, if Dober is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Dober lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mash circles away quickly and effectively.
Dober looks for the body kick but Mash saw that one coming.

Mash fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dober, pushing him back against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Dober fails to land.
Dober misses with the head strike.
Dober jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mash walks away with a smile on his face. Dober gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Mash dives in and scores a takedown into Dober's guard.
Dober keeping full guard, as Mash tries to pass.

Dober tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mash swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mash tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dober smiles and moves away.

Mash shoots in and bounces Dober off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Dober lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Dober distracts Mash with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Dober loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Mash wants to stand and escape but Dober is having none of it.
Dober has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mash is proving hard to escape from.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Mash closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dober's guard.

Dober wriggles free and stands up.

Dober throws a nice looking combination but Mash bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mash appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Mash has closed the distance and engaged Dober in a clinch.
Dober looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Dober has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Dober breaks the clinch.
Dober shoots in for a takedown but Mash shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mash seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Mash scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dober wants to control but Mash postures up.
Mash wants to stand but Dober is controlling his arm.

I would just about give that final round to Dom Dober.
Well Mash has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
