The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heed misses with an uppercut. Tacktheritrix saw that one coming.
We've been told by Tacktheritrix's head coaches at Viking Bizorkers that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Heed takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Heed fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tacktheritrix looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tacktheritrix lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Tacktheritrix lands a jab to the nose.
Heed throws a lazy uppercut
and Tacktheritrix counters with a straight right hand.
Tacktheritrix lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The crowd cheers as Tacktheritrix lands an impressive looking overhand right. Heed doesn't seem phased though.
Heed has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Heed scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Heed throws a hook to the side of Tacktheritrix's head but Tacktheritrix sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tacktheritrix jabs Heed to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Tacktheritrix avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tacktheritrix throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Heed.
Heed tries to move into range but Tacktheritrix moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A lazy left from Tacktheritrix finds it's target.

A decent looking cross lands there for Tacktheritrix.
Heed throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Heed throws a hook but Tacktheritrix blocks it.
Heed misses with a hook. Tacktheritrix ducked under it nicely.
Tacktheritrix is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Heed misses with a straight left.
Heed pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Heed is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Heed lands a nice hook to Tacktheritrix's body. Tacktheritrix takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Oooooh!!! Tacktheritrix has knocked Heed down with a huge combo! Tacktheritrix steps away and waves a wobbly Heed back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Tacktheritrix lands with a big right hook that stumbles Heed - he's out on his feet here! Tacktheritrix follows up with another monster hook that separates Heed from consciousness! Heed falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Tacktheritrix stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
