Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Byron Bluetooth (ranked 4496 p4p, 4493 weight class) and Ronny Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Davis there as he acknowledges the shot.
Bluetooth looks for a takedown but Davis sprawls well.
Davis is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Davis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Davis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bluetooth throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Bluetooth's jab looks to have found its range, popping Davis under the eye.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Davis wants to control from the top but Bluetooth keeps moving.
Bluetooth looking to hit a scissor sweep but Davis is one step ahead there.
Bluetooth has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Davis looking to sit in guard and control but Bluetooth gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Bluetooth decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Davis, up you get!
Davis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bluetooth thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Davis if he has to take too many more of those.
Bluetooth shoots for a double leg takedown but Davis sprawls well. He's pushed Bluetooth's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bluetooth is on top in guard.

Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bluetooth. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bluetooth takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Bluetooth is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Bluetooth is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Davis!
Davis is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bluetooth prevents Davis from getting the reversal.
Bluetooth tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bluetooth manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Davis manages to get himself to full guard.
