With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Butch Killstone!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cornell jabs Killstone right on the nose. Killstone blinks but takes it well.
Killstone tries to clinch but Cornell is having none of it.
Cornell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Killstone clinches with his opponent.
Killstone keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cornell's efforts to push away.

Cornell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Killstone keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Cornell keeps Killstone at a distance using the push kick.
Cornell lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The fighters circling - Killstone throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Cornell displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Killstone throws out the jab.

Cornell tries to keep at a distance but Killstone has taken the fight into the clinch.

Killstone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cornell throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Cornell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Killstone.
Cornell fires out a quick counter leg kick but Killstone just manages to avoid it.
Cornell goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Cornell swats away the attempt to clinch by Killstone.
Killstone throws a good cross that connects.
Killstone bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cornell's head backwards.
Killstone fails to land with a series of punches.

Killstone has Cornell up against the ropes in a clinch.
Cornell tries to circle away but Killstone has him pinned against the ropes.

Killstone struggles to land a body shot inside as Cornell controls his hands.
Killstone lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Killstone doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Cornell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cornell scores with a jab to the jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Killstone moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Cornell misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Killstone counters with a straight right hand.

Killstone darts in and clinches Cornell up against the ropes.
Cornell is trying to break the clinch but Killstone is controlling him.

Killstone scores with the left hand. Cornell knows he should have avoided that one.

Killstone throws a right hand that misses
and Cornell counters with a body kick that stops Killstone in his tracks momentarily.
A slapping body kick lands there for Cornell.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Butch Killstone will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Cornell makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Killstone really felt that one!
Killstone moves in looking to clinch but Cornell pushes him off.
Cornell quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
The fighters circle momentarily. Cornell darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Cornell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Killstone moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Killstone moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Killstone bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Cornell pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Cornell lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Killstone goes down! The ref sends Cornell to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Killstone is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!

Killstone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cornell moves away.
Cornell was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Killstone scores with a sloppy right hand. Cornell should have avoided that one.
Cornell throws a right hand that Killstone ducks under and follows up with a left that Killstone also avoids with ease.
Cornell throws a wild body kick that Killstone sees coming a mile off.
Killstone needs to keep his hands up - Cornell had a free shot at his head there.
Cornell looks to land a body kick but Killstone moved away.
Killstone rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cornell counters with a three punch combo that has Killstone backing up. Killstone nods at Cornell to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Killstone closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

and Cornell counters with a big uppercut that drops Killstone face first to the mat! Will he beat the count?! He's struggled up to his knees on 7 but it doesn't look like he's going to make it... he's been counted out! This fight is all over!

An out of breath Tony Cornell thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
