The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mateis Laeiro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lodinkinni sprawls well. Lodinkinni wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mateis Laeiro gets slowly back to his feet.
Lodinkinni has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Orvar Odd Lodinkinni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mateis Laeiro tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lodinkinni defends well and Mateis Laeiro ends up having to push Lodinkinni into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
