Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hadr Bari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Island Yonic!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bari waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Yonic.
Yonic is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Yonic.
Bari works the jab nicely.
Yonic shoots in and gets a takedown into Bari's guard.
Bari has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bari on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bari tries to get out of the position.
Yonic controlling from the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yonic is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
It looks like Yonic might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Yonic gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Yonic fails with the takedown.
Yonic drives through with a takedown into Bari's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yonic gets to his feet - Bari follows without any prompting.

A little feinted left hand from Bari on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Hadr Bari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Island Yonic.
Nice sprawl there from Bari as Yonic shoots in.

An attempted straight right counter from Bari misses the target.
Yonic takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

and Bari counters with a crisp right hand that drops Yonic! Bari lets Yonic back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Island Yonic has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crack! A monster head kick from Bari and Yonic falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Bari!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Hadr Bari!
A very excited looking Hadr Bari rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
