Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chad Lincoln !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter Boy!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lincoln fails with the takedown.
Lincoln throws a head kick but Boy moves out of range.
It seemed like Boy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Lincoln walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lincoln fails with a takedown attempt.
Boy just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lincoln displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boy throws out the jab.

and Boy counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chad Lincoln . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lincoln is breathing heavily.
Lincoln shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lincoln takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boy drops Lincoln with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lincoln looks back up at him and smiles so Boy waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Lincoln is rocked!
It looks like Chad Lincoln has been cut.
Boy throws a pinpoint strike between Lincoln 's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Lincoln crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Boy scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Boy!
