The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandes tries to close the distance and clinch but Tuou swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tuou closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fernandes circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Fernandes. No joy for Tuou on that attempt.
Tuou has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Pat Tuou has been cut.
Fernandes lands with a right that hurts Tuou. Tuou looks to clinch but Fernandes throws a short knee that drops Tuou. This one is all over!
