And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Winky Medina!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medina misses with the combination.
Chandler drops down looking for a counter takedown but Medina sprawls and moves away.
Medina connects with a nice looking jab.
A left and a right from Medina both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Nicholas Chandler has been cut.

Medina lands a left and a right that send Chandler crashing to the mat, dazed. Medina thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Chandler is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Medina throws a combination that misses

and Chandler counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Oh Chandler is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Medina wants to stand and escape but Chandler is having none of it.
Medina can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Chandler controls the pace.

Chandler is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Medina knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Medina really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chandler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chandler wants to finish this one by submission but Medina is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Chandler.
Chandler tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Chandler won't let Medina get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Medina is squirming around, avoiding Chandler's attempts to control the action.
Medina is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Chandler looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Chandler wants to control the pace but Medina is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Medina tries to stand but Chandler is controlling from the bottom.
Medina is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Chandler is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Medina stands and steps away. Chandler gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
A jab from Medina does it's job there.
Medina lands an overhand right.
Chandler tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Medina swivels and escapes.
Medina throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chandler shoots in for a takedown but Medina shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Medina sizes up Chandler with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Medina lands an overhand right.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Medina lands with a right that hurts Chandler. Chandler looks to clinch but Medina throws a short knee that drops Chandler. This one is all over!
