Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tayaen Porfirigo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vinny Tulip!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Tulip. Beautiful body shot.
Porfirigo looks for a takedown but Tulip sprawls well.
Tulip rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Porfirigo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Porfirigo on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Porfirigo fails with the takedown
enabling Tulip to counter with a crisp jab.
Porfirigo misses with a takedown attempt
and Tulip counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tayaen Porfirigo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tulip lands with a nice body punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Porfirigo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tulip pinned against the cage. Tulip gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Tulip lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tulip looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

and Tulip counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

enabling Tulip to counter with a crisp jab.

Oooooh!!! Tulip has knocked Porfirigo down with a huge combo! Tulip steps away and waves a wobbly Porfirigo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
