Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Jones (ranked 3841 p4p, 2874 weight class) and Zeno Bathory (ranked 136 p4p, 103 weight class). Bathory has chosen Metallica: Battery as his entrance music. Zeno Bathory has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, David Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zeno Bathory!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bathory throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bathory off to one side.
Jones misses with a straight right.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bathory.
Jones definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Crunch! Bathory slams his shin into Jones's torso.
Jones goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Zeno Bathory has been cut.

Bathory closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jones did well to prevent Bathory getting side control.
Jones wants to get back to his feet.
Bathory throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Jones is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bathory scores with a couple of nice shots.

It looks like David Jones has been cut.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bathory on the ground.

Bathory is working for a kimura but Jones is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bathory is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bathory looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Jones is trying to stand.
Bathory throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bathory lands with a punch from half guard.

David Jones's cut is getting worse.
Bathory is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Jones reverses the position - he's now on top in Bathory's guard.
Bathory is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Jeez, David Jones's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at David Jones's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Zeno Bathory opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
