The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Young closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Salazar did well to prevent Young getting side control.

Salazar wants to control but Young is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Salazar slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Salazar had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Young defends it easily.
Young trying to control but Salazar is working from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Young accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Salazar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
