Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tucker Pilon (ranked 4936 p4p, 5104 weight class) and Mark Lopez Jr (ranked 215 p4p, 221 weight class). Lopez Jr has chosen I am Goated as his entrance music. Mark Lopez Jr is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pilon throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Pilon cracks Lopez Jr with a good jab.
Pilon misses with a few strikes there.
Pilon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lopez Jr! But no joy.
Tucker Pilon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lopez Jr moves into the clinch successfully.

Lopez Jr jumps into guard, dragging Pilon to the mat.

Lopez Jr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pilon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pilon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Pilon wants to get up but he can't break Lopez Jr's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Lopez Jr looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lopez Jr wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pilon stands and steps away. Lopez Jr gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Pilon throws a nice looking combination but Lopez Jr bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Pilon is posturing up here but Lopez Jr has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Pilon tries to roll out but it's too tight and Pilon has to tap! Slick submission there by Lopez Jr!
