Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raskalov Timurovich (ranked 5644 p4p, 5921 weight class) and Brandon Shamrock (ranked 441 p4p, 451 weight class). Shamrock has chosen Canned Heat- Going Up The Country as his entrance music. Brandon Shamrock told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Shamrock thows a left - swing and a miss!
Timurovich is looking to counter punch.
Shamrock misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
As Shamrock tries to get set, Timurovich tries to push him back and clinch up but Shamrock manages to avoid the attempt.
Timurovich takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Timurovich might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Timurovich with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Shamrock to score with a decent uppercut.

Shamrock throws a nice looking combination but Timurovich bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Well Shamrock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
